Export-Import Bank of the United States ("Eximbank")
Eximbank is a U.S. Government agency that helps finance and insure exports of American made goods and services. Various insurance programs are available to exporters and financial institutions on a single or multi transactional basis.

AIG Global Trade & Polticial Risk Insurance Co., Inc. (AIG)
AIG, through its member companies, forms one of the world's largest insurance organizations, providing insurance and operating offices in over 130 countries. AIG began offering political risk covers in the mid-1970's. Available products include Comprehensive Trade Credit plus all types of political risk policies.

FCIA/Great American Insurance Company
Great American Insurance Company is the sole subscribing company of the FCIA Management Company, Inc. and is the sole insurer under FCIA export credit policies. Products include Comprehensive Trade Credit and political risks coverages.

Trade Underwriters Agency (TUA)
TUA is the exclusive worldwide Program Manager for Reliance Insurance Company and its subsidiaries for trade credit and political risk insurance. Products include Comprehensive Trade Credit insurance and political risk coverages.

Exporters Insurance Company Ltd. ("Exporters")
Exporters is a Bermuda group captive insurance company, which began operations in January 1990. Exporters is a user-owned, private sector underwriter of trade credit and political risk insurance. To access Exporters, an exporter or bank purchases Preference shares of Exporter's parent corporation, EIC Corporation, Ltd.

Lloyd's of London (LLOYDS)
Today underwriting is lead by a half dozen syndicates at Lloyd's. Begun over 200 years ago, the Lloyd's market has consistently lead the political risk insurance field. Political Risk developed as part of the marine insurance market and in recent years acquired its own special status within Lloyd's. Other syndicates in the marine and non-marine area will also participate on "political" risks.

Maryland Netherlands Credit Insurance Company
Long known as Fidelity & Deposit, an old-line writer of domestic credit insurance policies. They are now jointly owned by Dutch credit insurance giant NCM and the Zurich Insurance Group. They offer credit and political risk covers in select export markets.

American Credit Indemnity (ACI)
A large domestic trade credit insurer sold by Dun & Bradstreet in 1996 to the Euler Group. ACI now provide credit and political risk covers in select export markets.

CNA Credit
CNA Credit is a subsidiary of one of the top ten US insurance groups, CNA Insurance Companies. Since 1995, CNA Credit with the support of its French partner, COFACE and a network of credit insurance companies, Credit Alliance, offer past due and insolvency covers in over 85 countries.

Additional markets include:
Citicorp International Trade Indemnity, Inc. (CITI), UNISTRAT Corporation of America, and Pool d'Assurance des Risques Internationaux et Speciaux ("PARIS")

INVESTMENT UNDERWRITERS
Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA)
MIGA was established in 1988 as the newest member of the World Bank Group. Its purpose is to encourage foreign investment in developing countries by providing a full range of investment guarantees against political risk. Products/Service: Currency Transfer, Expropriation, Breach of Contract, War and Civil Disturbance covers are offered.

Overseas Private Investment Agency (OPIC)
OPIC was established in 1971 as an agency of the United States Government. OPIC's purpose is to encourage foreign investment in developing countries by providing a full range of investment guarantees, direct loans and investment insurance against political risk. Products/Service: Inconvertibility, Expropriation, Political Violence, Direct Loans & Loan Guaranties, Special Leasing Programs, Special Contractors & Exporters Programs are available.
